AQUASEA is the authorised repairer for HYPOXI Dermology and Vacunaut slimming suits and skirts. These suits require expert repairs using specialised materials and glues, and a clear knowledge of their function. Please don't trust them to amateur repairers.
We repair and alter all types of wetsuits including triathlon. Many people do not realise that they do not have to put up with the discomfort of a wetsuit that does not fit properly. If your suit has "shrunk" or you are not an "off the rack" size, don't despair! Aquasea has been repairing and altering wetsuits since 1969. We are able to repair or alter most wetsuits to your requirements, and we will give you an honest assessment of whether the job is worth doing. We can let your suit out, take it in, shorten the legs and arms, replace neck and wrist seals. We do our best to alter suits such that the change is not obvious. We put in comfort zips, wrist and ankle zips, attach pockets, kevlar knee and elbow pads, and kevlar bums. We are also able to attach Halcyon style pockets to neoprene suits.
If you rip your suit, or break the zipper, or the velcro closure is past its "use by", don't throw it out! Most things can be fixed, or a panel replaced. This is much more cost effective than buying a new suit.
Before and after shots of Wetsuit where shortening has been done.
Wetsuits represent a considerable investment. Our repairs and alterations are professionally done and cost effective. Professional quality repairs that will last require the correct adhesives, specialist sewing machines adjusted to stitch rubber, UV resistant thread and considerable experience. Do not rely on the advice of your mate to use a well-known "flexible" sealer - it will ultimately damage your suit and make the problem much harder to fix.
Our address is: 10 B Percival Rd Caringbah South, NSW 2229
Include your details, and preferably a mobile contact number, clear details of the damage and if possible mark it with chalk or tape. Dozens of suits come here every week and we don't want to waste time trying to tie your suit to your email or phone call. Please do not include storage bags or anything else - just the suit.

Our address is: 10 B Percival Rd Caringbah South, NSW 2229 (bottom of driveway).
PLEASE... if you want us to repair your suit, do us the courtesy of supplying it in CLEAN, DRY and SAND and URINE FREE condition. Just because it is dry on one side does not mean it is dry on the other side. We reserve the right to wash suits that do not present in workable condition. A $33 cleaning fee applies and your repair will be delayed.
We do our best to get your suit completed as quickly as possible. However, many factors influence this and we cannot guarantee an absolute time frame.
Please note: All items are at the owner's risk whilst on site and in transit.
Please don't ask us to quote over the phone, there are just too many variables. For example on a zip repair:
This is why we can’t quote without knowing what we are quoting on, and why we have a strict policy of sighting the damage before we quote.
We do NOT generally quote on small jobs, if the job is not worth your while to have done we will tell you.
Please note there is a $30 charge to quote. This is refundable on the cost of the repair.
